- Italy is part of the European Union, so Italian citizenship allows you access to dozens of countries without the need for visas or residency permits. You also have the right to work in any country in the EU and have access to free, high quality healthcare. High quality education for minors is also free and a university education is extremely affordable
- Absolutely! You will however require a residency permit based on working in Italy or a family member who your reside with. Residency permits are typically valid for 2-5 years.
- If you are starting at zero Italian, we do suggest you complement our program with a free language learning app if you want to progress faster.
- The CILS B1 Cittidinanza exam is one of the three exams accepted by the Italian government for the citzenship application for long term residents and spouses of Italian citizens. It is the shortest of the 3 exams and is offered more frequently than the others.
- The exam has 4 sections: Listening, Comprehension, Writing, and Oral. Ready Set Italia has a preparation course for each section of the exam.
